You, the Patient
You, the Patient
What can I expect from my visit?
Please plan to arrive ten minutes before your scheduled appointment to check in and complete all necessary paperwork. Patient visits are typically scheduled 15 minutes in length. Please limit yourself to one to two issues per visit to ensure you get the quality of care you expect and deserve. If you require a longer appointment please let our staff know at the time you book your appointment.
Open Access Bookings
The objective of open access booking is to improve patient care by providing access to timely appointments. BAFHT reserves a segment of the schedule each day for same day or next day appointments.
Health Myself Portal
Patients are encouraged to sign up for the Health Myself Patient Portal. This is a secure way to receive test results and ask your clinician a medical question.
Your test results will be reviewed by your health care professional within one a week of receiving the results. Patients will only be notified of the results if further action is necessary. Test results can not be given out over the phone. Patients are welcome to have a paper copy of the results by asking staff.
If you need to cancel your appointment please call the office at any time and leave a message. BAFHT requests a minimum 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations may also be made via the Health Myself Portal.
Ongoing medications are usually prescribed to cover a one year time period. Please call the office to book an appointment after your last fill of these medications. Expect a 10-business day turn around time for Pharmacy requests for medication renewals. Renewal of narcotics, ADD, and sleeping medications require an office visit with your doctor.
